Tackling the setup of offshore processes bottom-up at OMC Asia 2018
The final programme for Offshore Mariculture Asia has now been released, systematically covering the multiple stages involved in the process of moving your operations offshore.
An internationally renowned panel of experts
The programme for OMC Asia 2018 features individuals and companies with lengthy, successful histories in the aquaculture industry, many of whom have been instrumental in the setup of offshore operations in their respective countries.
Alongside the experts in setup, zoning and licencing will be a cohort of leading technologists speaking about their work in developing cages, monitoring technologies and netting which have revolutionised the offshore industry.
A forum for Asian businesses
On a more local level, the programme will feature companies locally based across Southeast Asia whose presentations will cover anything from farm case studies, to hatcheries and cages. The varied opportunities to network include 4 coffee breaks, two lunches, a conference dinner and technical visits and will ensure that participants get the opportunity to meet outside of the conference room.
An attendee profile covering a plethora of sectors
The previous edition OMC held in Baja California, Mexico, welcomed 31% of its attendees from the feed and nutrition sector, 29% from a technology background, 17% were farm owners and the remaining 23% comprised of researchers, investors, government bodies and those involved in the sale, distribution, import and export of farmed fish.
