Biography
Karl was born and bred in Reykjavik, Iceland. Karl's involvement in PR started in 1991, he ran an independent consultancy to 1996, focusing on the entertainment industry. He established The Icelandic Theatre Company in 1995 and Inntak PR in 1999 which he operated until 2006, when he sold the business. Karl was a Director at Askar Capital investment bank from 2007, overseeing investment projects, institutional sales and corporate PR strategy. Karl formed GRD consulting in 2009, focusing on strategic PR consulting to fisheries and aquaculture. Karl Petur Jonsson holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Iceland and an MBA from Reykjavik University.
