OSM delegates on their way to the Plankton fish farm
The Plankton fish farm was the excellent host of the fish farm visit.
Offshore Mariculture Conference delegates round off with a visit to a sea bream and sea bass fish farm
Following the two day technical conference held at the Hilton Imperial Hotel Dubrovnik, Croatia, delegates at the OSM Conference were made to feel very welcome by Matko Jasprica and his team at the Plankton fish farm.
The Plankton farm is situated 1.5 miles out to sea from the picturesque fishing village of Drace, on the Peljesac peninsula in the southern Adriatic. The farm produces around 120 tons a year and is hidden from sight and screened from the northerly wind by a small island.
