Offshore Fish Farm Visit

Delegates will have the opportunity to participate in a technical visit following the presentations at the 2014 Conference - more details of the visit will be made available shortly.

For the 2012 Conference in Izmir, Turkey, delegates had the opportunity to visit one of Turkey's largest and most successful producers Camli/Pinar on the third day of the conference.

80% of fish farms in Turkey are located offshore and this visit provided the perfect opportunity to tour one of Turkey's largest and most successful producers, Camli/Pinar, based in Işıkkent, İzmir, including a presentation on the plant's management and procedures. A buffet lunch was provided whilst delegates could discuss and share findings, before then travelling to the Çeşme hatchery.

At the hatchery, delegates sailed to Camli's offshore Seabass and Seabreem cages and were offered time to participate in a Q&A session with the farming managers. A relaxed sail back to the shore and a chance to recuperate on the journey back to the Hilton Hotel was the ideal way to close the day. All travel was included.

For your chance to enjoy a similar unique experience as a part of the two day technical conference on 9-11 April 2014, register your interest here now.
